Well this weeks craft challenge at One Stop is bells. So I am entering one of the xmas cards I made. :) Hope you like xx

This weeks challenge over at the OneStopCraftChallenge blog is 'Something Blue'. Having recently done all cards I decided I fancied a change and so have made a door hanger.

The door hanger is made using a sheet of mdf which has been cut to shape and then painted using 'Surf'. Whilst the paint was drying I took some beads and clear elastic cord and made a long charm which i then tied around the hanger and hid the remainder cord under some blue and white dotted ribbon.

I then used patterned paper (polka dot), corregated card in pearlescent cream. I typed up the wording on the laptop and printed them out, cutting them out with fancy scissors to give a decorative edge.

Other decoration includes a button, sequins, flowers and jewels.

Hope everyone is well?

This is my entry in to the next One Stop Craft Challenge. This weeks challenge is Pretty Petals. I took a bright pink card and cut it in a slant, I then cut a piece of black paper with pink polka dots and glued that on the inside making the card look square. I then took a piece of flocked paper and cut into a small rectangle which I mounted the stamp of Thank you on to. After that I created a butterfly using some papers, stamps, wire, beads, and corrugated card. Along the edge of the slant I glued some fancy purple trim which contrasts nicely with the card, I then attached the butterfly and also made a small flower out of corregated card and a brad for the top corner. If you look closely you will see that the butterfly's wings also have flowers inside. Hence the Pretty Petals :D

I hope you like the card I made, I was looking back at some posts I made on a forum the other day and I made my first ever card on the 30th September 2008! So hopefully you will think I have improved a lot :D:D

Well the OneStop craft challenge is hidden messages this week. So here is my entry, you cant really see the writing though as it is in silver and the flash keeps bouncing off it making it hard to read :S

Well I made a few more cards last night which I will upload for you to see and then I decided to have a mooch around the internet and I remembered a site my friend had recommended. They have a challenge running each week, this week's challenge is Wings, so I entered my little ice skating penguin. :) If you are interested then take a look CHALLENGE. The first one the picture quality isn't brilliant I may try and take another picture later on, I am really happy with it though as it is the first time I have used beads and metallic thread like I have.
